This monument was reported by the archaeologist Tony Miller on 20 March 2014. he describes it as follows:
"This is a mass rock situated on the steep southern side of Pipe Hill, just to the west of the road. It is known locally as ‘Carraig an tSeipeil’ and is visible as a pronounced triangular rib of bed rock about 10m west of the road. The rock looks a bit like a church spire, which probably inspired its name, and an even ledge of bed rock runs along the western side at about waist height. It faces onto a level area of field with a stone wall along its southern edge. This site was shown to me by Hilary Bishop who is researching Mass rocks in the area."
