Gallauns — Farrannahineeny

On the bog-covered S spur of Carrigariark at the E end of the Shehy mountain. This row of four stones is aligned NE-SW, and 8.2m in overall length. The NE stone is 0.8m L, 0.5m T and 1.3m H. The second stone, 2.55m to the SW, is 0.65m L, 0.4m T and 1.25m H. The third stone, 1.2m further to the SW, is 1.1m L, 0.3m T and 1.6m H. The SW and tallest stone, 1.2m from the last, is 0.8m L, 0.65m T and 2.8m H. There is a fifth stone lying to the N of the second stone; it measures 2.45m by 0.7m and is 0.3m T. It is not clear if this formed part of the row. There is a group of stones, partly covered by a fence, 6m to the SW. (Ó Nualláin 1988,235, no.35).
