During field walking for an application for afforestation an unrecorded hut site was found. It is situated close to the top of a ridge in a small valley, sheltered from the west and with open views to the east, in an area of rough mountain grazing It is sub-circular in shape with internal dimensions of 3.1m N-S and 3.2m E-W and walls built of random field stones surviving to a maximum height of 0.4m and 0.9m wide. There is a 1.8m wide gap down-slope to the east which probably once contained the entrance. There is a relict field boundary c25m to the west.
