This c. 200m of relict field boundary runs from high on a ridge in the Shehy Mountains down slope to the southeast where it ends at the edge of an area of deep bog. It also forms part of a townland boundary between Ballynamought to the west and Coomclogh to the east. It survives to a maximum height of c.0.6m and is mostly built of dry-stone walling with a more squared face on the western side. In places it is covered in a thin layer of turf and one stretch seems to have been built of earth only. It runs c.25m to the west of a hut site and crosses a small gully of drier land where it has been partially rebuilt.
