What is recorded here

In a clearing in a coniferous wood, on a NW-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped grass-covered mound (8m N-S; 6.4m E-W; H 1m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 2.1m) faces E. Burnt material is exposed intermittently on the W side of the mound. There are field walls (CO092-060001-) c. 70m to the SW.
