Circular area (26m N-S; 22.6m E-W) enclosed by ruined stone wall (Wth 3m) on which later stone wall built SE->NW. Foundations of rectangular structure (L 6.3m; Wth 3.2m) on E side; two irregular stone cairns on NW side. Known locally as "the convent". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
