In reclaimed pasture at mouth of U-shaped valley which extends back to NW. Large rectangular stone (H 1.9m; 1.25m; 0.45m) rests, at 45 degree angle, against thin upright slab (H 0.64m; 0.09m; 0.65m). A number of other slabs lean against this pair which are partially covered by cairn of field clearance stones. Exact nature of site unknown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
