In rough pasture, on the upper S-facing slope of Baurearagh Mountain with fine views over the valley of the Glengarriff River and harbour to the SE. The remains consist of a gallery (L 3.4m; Wth 1m at centre, narrowing to 0.9m at E), aligned E-W, represented by three sidestones to the N, the backstone at E and a single slab marking the E component of the S side. A prostrate slab lying at the W end of the gallery may be the W fallen sidestone or, more likely, a displaced roofstone.The greater part of the E section of the gallery is covered by a roofstone (2.25m x 1.3m; T 0.25m). Two outer-wall stones stand to the N of the gallery. Remains of a grass-covered mound are visible at the E end of the monument.
