In pasture, on steep ENE-facing slope. Levelled; roughly oval area (c. 34m N-S; 44m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.9m) from WSW->NNW; scarp (max. H 2.4m) NNW->ESE. Remainder disturbed by farm buildings. According to Power (1940, 23), 'There is a circular lios on Sloane's farm and, near north boundary....was a smaller similar monument. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
