Along west channel of Cork Harbour at Paddy's Point, located at the northern end of Gobby Beach. Tightly packed thin lense of oyster shell material with periwinkle inclusions; no visible evidence of charred plant macros. Midden is approx. 5m from second possible shell midden (CO087-162----). Material is largely held in place by thin layer of topsoil however this is being eroded out due to increased activity in the area. Additional section of exposed tightly packed oyster shell material visible in the area may relate to this midden feature, bringing total possible extent of feature to 1.7m in length. Dimensions: 0.6m (L) x0.13m (W) x 0.12m (D).
