During archaeological test-trenching in advance of a housing development, a rectangular pit (2.15m E-W x 0.25m) was discovered. The pit contained a dark grey, silty humic clay with moderate inclusions of heat-shattered stone, charcoal flecks and burnt bone. Two raths (CO087-030----; CO087-031----) are located 54m and 140m to the SSE and E, respectively. (Sherlock 2002, 9)
