Following a monitoring programme on the N28 Cork (Bloomfield)-Ringaskiddy road scheme, a test-trench produced a single circular pit (diam. 1m; D 0.4m) with a silty charcoal flecked fill (Hanley 2004, 14; 2007, 45).
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
