In a marshy area in pasture, on a S-facing slope with views over Cork Harbour to the SE. According to local information, a raised area (c. 6m E-W; max. H 0.5m) contains heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil though this could not be confirmed during the site inspection.
