House demolised in 1981. Old photograph shows house as 2-storey, weatherslated with hipped roof; of late 18th century appearnce. Entrance front of 6-bays; central round-headed door ope; classical surround with broken pediment. Remains of ornate gate lodge (overgrown) survive to S on either side of entrance gate; one storey, appears to be hexagonal in plan; built of cut stone.
