On W-facing shore of Lough Beg inlet, in estuary of Cork Harbour. No visible surface trace. 'Small shell deposit' (UCC); '8m long and probably of 19th/20th century date' (Cork Harbour Archaeology, UCC, 1975, 7). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
