In SW quadrant of ringfort (CO085-067001-). First described by J. Windele in 1843 as stone-built, zig-zag, in three sections; lengths for each section are 5.48m; 4.87m and 5.48m (McCarthy 1977, 161). Brash (1879, 140) stated that it had 'rectangular chambers connected by the usual narrow passages and extending for a length of 52ft'. Six capstones had ogham inscriptions (CO085-067003-; CO085-067004-; CO085-067005-; CO085-067006-; CO085-067007-; CO085-067008-; these are now in the National Museum of Ireland. No visible surface trace of souterrain.
