In pasture, on N-facing slope of E-W ridge, overlooking Bride River valley. Circular raised area (34m E-W; 33.5m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H1.1m; ext. H 2m) E->W; scarp (H 1.5m) with slight internal lip (H 0.2m) W->E; shallow external fosse (D 0.2m) survives in part. Bank topped by field boundary NE->WSW. Interior raised on NW side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
