Double kiln, built against rock face in limestone quarry; possible third kiln at N end obscured by overgrowth and modern structures. Front elevation (W) has two segmentally arched recesses, both blocked. Only circular funnel of S kiln (diam. 2.5m) visible at rear. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
