Indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map as road bridge over Buingea River; now disused; standing in reservoir of Lee Valley Hydro-electric Scheme. Sandstone bridge (Wth c. 8.25m); single semicircular arch with rusticated limestone voussoirs, limestone string course. Road surface denuded exposing top of arch. Bridge is mid-19th century in appearance; probably rebuilt when Cork-Macroom Direct Railway line, (which passed c. 100m to SW), was built in 1861-66 (Mulligan 1990, 27).
