In pasture, on break in SE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 20.8m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.7m) to SW, NW and N; scarp (H 0.9m) to E and S; top of scarp slopes gently down towards interior. Bank stone-faced and incorporated into field fence system to NW. Interior level; partially covered in ferns. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
