In pasture, on NNW-facing slope. Circular area (28.7m E-W; 28.5m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2m); shallow external fosse to E. Bank stone-faced in parts externally. Gap (Wth 1.5m) in bank to N; approach defined by low ridge on either side; cairn of field clearance stones dumped outside entrance beyond ridges. Stone-faced field boundary (H 1.1m) to SW and NW, 8m outside bank and concentric with it. Interior cut into hillside on SSE side and raised on NNW side to compensate for hillslope; crossed by remains of cultivation ridges on N-S axis.
