In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 39m) defined by two earthen banks with intervening fosse (D 1.4m). On N side banks cut into hillside; outer bank (6m across top), extends up hillside and ends where slope breaks to level ground. On S side interior raised; to S inner and outer banks survive as low rises atop steep drops (inner bank: int. H 0.3m; ext. H c. 2.7m, outer bank: ext. H c. 2m), with intervening terrace. Entrance to E. Interior slopes down to S; possible souterrain (CO083-066002-) in NW quadrant. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
