In rough grazing; adjacent to stile giving access to holy well (CO083-060002-) c. 50m to NNW. Boulder (c. 2m x c. 1.5m; H c. 0.6m) embedded in ground, has cross scratched on upper surface by pilgrims making rounds in conjunction with holy well. Base of rock encircled by ring of small quartzite stones. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
