In marshy ground, on N side of stream. Overgrown horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L c. 14m; Wth c. 12m; H 1.3m); opening (Wth 4m) faces W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
