Abandoned gable-ended T-shaped 2-storey house. All three gables topped by chimney stacks, each has pair of small attic lights. Entrance front (E) of 5 bays; central door with rectangular fanlight, light ornately glazed; door flanked by side lights. Central Venetian windows on 1st floor; first floor weather-slated on all sides. Chimney stack on N gable has slate near base inscribed with number 7; according to owner this is all that remains of date '1777', a likely date for construction of house. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
