What is recorded here

In pasture, on N-facing slope, overlooking River Lee. Circular area (44.4m N-S; 42.2m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.6m). Break in bank to N (Wth 5m) blocked, except for 1m on W side, by stone wall set back from outer bank face and backed with earth in line with inner bank face. Interior slopes down to entrance on N side; crossed by remains of cultivation ridges on NNW-SSE axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
