What is recorded here

On level shoulder of N-facing slope in valley of tributary of Cummer River. Comprises collapsed gallery (estimated L 2.5m; Wth c. 1m at E end), partly obscured by field clearance material at W end. Aligned E-W, gallery consists of two N sidestones, one S sidestone and backstone at E end exposed beneath roofstone; S edge of probable second roof stone visible to W. Exposed stone to NW may be outer-wall; three further outer-wall stones at E end of gallery (O Nualláin 1989, 136) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
