In pasture, on edge of break in SW-facing slope. Circular area (36m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m). Externally bank lowest on NE side (H 1.4m) and highest to SW where natural fall of ground gives external bank height of 4.2m. External fosse survives as slight depression to N. Entrance (Wth 4m) to SSE. Interior slopes gently down to S; crossed by remains of cultivation ridges on N-S axis; rock outcrop visible in Shalf. Ringfort (CO082-075001-) c. 300m to W.
