In pasture, on N-facing slope, overlooking Lough Allua and Inchigeelagh to NE. Circular area (33m E-W; 32m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 2.4m) with external fosse (max. D 2m). Bank stone-faced internally; externally stone facing visible along base of bank on N side; berm along outer bank face. Break (Wth 4.6m) in bank to NNE, blocked by low stone wall; cattle gap to SE. Fosse flat-bottomed and dry. Interior level in eastern quadrant; slopes down to NW elsewhere. Possible souterrain (CO081-039---) in interior. 'Named after ancient Chieftain called Tahiff or Fahiff' (Anon. 1994, 6).
