What is recorded here

Described by Quinn and Carroll (2010) as ‘Located in pasture atop plateau on NW facing slope. Commands extensive views to W, SW and S. Comprises one upstanding hut and annex and five collapsed huts. Hut A: Upstanding hut in centre of complex. Stands to 6 courses in height. Drystone walling of random rubble construction, utilising medium sized stones throughout with occasional large stones at base of wall. Some of the basal stones are set upright. Entrance located at S (0.5m in width). Internal Dimension: Length 2m, Width 1.45m, Height 1m. Wall Width: 0.5-0.6m. Annex adjoins this hut at NE. Possible entrance at S where less stone apparent. Collapsed random rubble walls. Internal Dimensions: Length 1m, Width 0.9m. Walls: Width 0.7m, Height 0.5m. Hut B: Located 0.6m immediately W of Hut A. Collapsed random rubble walls. Sub-circular in plan, now wider in extent due to collapse. Internal Dimensions: 1m x 1m. Survives to 2 courses in height. Walls: Width 0.7m, Height 0.3m. Hut C: Located S of Hut A. Largely collapsed and overgrown. A number of flat shale slabs are apparent within the collapse which may suggest original corbelled roof. No entrance apparent. Maximum dimensions: Length 5.4m, Width 4.9m. Hut D: Located immediately E of Hut C. Comprises small collapsed hut of random rubble. Internal Dimensions 1m x 1m. Walls: Width 0.6m, Height 0.56m. Hut E: Large collapsed hut located at E side of complex. Random construction, possible stepped walling or wider at base. Length 6m, Width 5.2m, Height 0.6m. Hut F: Located NW of Hut E. Collapsed possibly originally circular structure. No construction method or entrance apparent. Length 5.4m, Width 4.6m. Walls: Width 0.7m.'
