What is recorded here

Described by Quinn and Carroll (2010) as ‘a possible standing stone located in pasture land to the E/NE of the huts (39). It is a small stone measuring 0.5m in height. It is possible that the base of the stone is sod covered and that its original height is larger than the visible section.' Quinn, A and Carroll, M (2010) ‘Archaeological, Architectural and Cultural Heritage Assessment for a Proposed Wind Farm at Doonens Co. Cork’, Unpublished report, Tobar Archaeological Services. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 22 August 2013
