What is recorded here

In hollow, built against natural slope. Front (H c. 5m) S-facing, partially collapsed; arched recess (H 1.2m; Wth 2.25m; D 1.4m), rear collapsed. Stone-lined funnel (max. diam. 2.2m), beaker-shaped in cross section. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
