A burnt mound was uncovered during monitoring of topsoil stripping in the north-west corner of the development area (licence 19E0359). The mound is comprised of black charcoal rich silty clay and heat-shattered sandstone, it measures roughly 10m N/S, 8m E/W and 0.3-0.5m in depth. The site is preserved in situ below the surface of a GAA playing pitch.
