What is recorded here

On low-lying pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by stone bank (H 1m) NNW->N and SSE->SSW; overgrown or levelled elsewhere. Interior divided by E-W and N-S field fences; much outcropping occurs. Natural cave-opening immediately inside bank to NNW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
