On S-facing slope, overlooking Ballyleary stream. Farm shed now built on site; no visible surface trace. Local tradition of ringfort here. According to Healy (1904, 113) ..'a Rath, has completely disappeared....a portion of it occupied by (a) residence. This Rath had a stream of water running through it, hence the name Lisanisky, or "Fort of the Water". Power, however (1918, 224) describes a standing lios, probably (CO075-037--) as 'the name-giving lios'. Ringfort (CO075-033---) c. 170m to W; fulacht fiadhs (CO075-035---; CO075-03601-; CO075-03602-) to W and NW.
