This is the present location for ogham stone (CO049-052----) found during peat cutting in Carrigagulla Co Cork. The precise original location is unknown. The stone (1.6m x 0.23m x 0.23m, converted from Macalister 1945) is currently on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork. Macalister (1945, 126-7, no. 128) read the inscription as DOVETI MAQI LOCARENAS CELI MAQI-CULIDOVI; McManus (1991, 65 and 2004, 22, no. 25) had problems reading most of the fourth word (CELI) and all but the Q of the first MAQI. (Power et al. 1997, no. 7957) Compiled by: Nora White Date of upload: 20 January 2016
