In tillage, on N-facing slope. Removed c. 1977, now lying c. 50m to S at edge of small forestry plantation. Stone (L 0.84m; 0.76m x 0.77m), irregular in plan, is said to be one of two stones (CO072-132----) thrown here by a giant. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
