In pasture. Remains of circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map, cut by roadway running E-W. Arc (NW->NE) formed by earthen bank (H 0.4m) survives to N of roadway. Bank levelled to S of roadway; Hartnett (1939, 114) recorded 'track of rampart' here. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
