One of six ogham stones (also CO072-078003-, CO072-078005-, CO072-078006-, CO072-078007-, CO072-078008-) used in the construction of a souterrain (CO072-078002-). Discovered in 1910 and now on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork (See CO074-136----). This stone (1.75m; 0.4m x 0.25m) stood upright in the souterrain supporting a lintel. Both Macalister (1945, 113, no. 113) and McManus (2004, 15-6, no. 5) gave the inscription as VEQIKAMI MAQI LUGUNI; Power (1932, no. 15) had a C for the K in the first word.
