House, marked 'Cronodymore (in ruins)' on 1842 OS 6-inch map, built c. 1716, using stone removed from nearby Inishleena Abbey (CO072-044002-); described as 'of a rectangular plan, 60 feet long in the front, facing south, and 25 feet deep, three storeys high, and with a chimney, standing up at each of the four corners' (Gillman 1895, 224). In 1894, remains of six masonry vats used for cider making were uncovered to the rear of the house (ibid.). Present residential house of late 19th-century appearance; 3-bay, 2-storey gable-ended; built near site of earlier house. On high ground to S remains of dovecote (CO072-042----); slightly further S, overlooking the river, a 'tea-house' was built c. 1716, of which only foundations survived in 1894 (ibid.).
