Three-storey double-gable-ended house of late 18th-century appearance. Entrance front (E) of 7 bays with central 3-bay pedimented breakfront; central door approached by flight of stone steps, limestone surround with entablature supported on slender consoles. Windows on entrance front has limestone architraves, prominent keystones at ground floor level. Shallow stone string courses between floor levels. Round-headed central 1st-floor window. Rear elevation of 5 bays; central bay has Venetian window between ground and 1st floor, and Diocletian window between 1st and 2nd floor recessed under semicircular brick arch. Two-storey, stone-built farmbuildings around courtyard to rear. In wood, to S of house, square tower of roughly same date as house. Carrignamuck castle (CO072-019----) to NE.
