Road bridge over Sullane River; now submerged in resevoir of Lee Valley Hydro-electric Scheme. According to O'Keeffe and Simington (1991, 170), bridge was located c. 50m E of present replacement bridge and was built in the style of the bridges at Glanworth (North Cork) and Kilcrea (CO084-023----); old sketch shows seven arches; clearly marked on Moll's map (1714). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
