In pasture. Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 30m E-W; c. 20m N-S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, enclosed within small rectangular field, with bank E->W forming S corner of field; N quadrant hachured on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps, joining field fences extending NW and NE from corner of field to S. Field fences and enclosure levelled, low rise S->W marks line of levelled bank. Hartnett (1939, 102) recorded N quadrant remaining, cut off from rest of fort, which is levelled, by 'two earth and stone fences running N.W. and N.E.' with 'vague traces of the rampart outside these fences' especially along SW quadrant (Fig. XXVII:I).
