Ruined late 18th-century rectangular house built into N-facing slope; entrance front (S) 2-storey over basement, rear 3-storey, both 5 bays wide. Roof collapsed but was hipped with off-centre chimneys surviving. Door in centre of entrance front, flanked by side lights, approached by flight of steps. Some of rectangular window opes have brick dressing with limestone key stone. Stone-built farm buildings c. 150m to SE still in use, entered through tall archway topped with bellcote (bell still in position). Farmyard contains circular stone stands for hay or corn. Restored gatelodge.
