In pasture, on N-facing slope, overlooking Sullane River valley; farmyard immediately to S. Circular area (34.7m N-S; 34.3m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.05m); external fosse (D 0.9m) survives SSE->NW, slight slope into base of bank elsewhere. Bank topped by concrete water tank to S; break (Wth 5m) to SE, connecting farmyard to interior. Fosse planted with coniferous trees SW->NW. Possible souterrain (CO070-076002-) in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
