In pasture, atop knoll, on S-facing slope overlooking Toon River valley. Circular raised area (26m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.85m), with external fosse (D 0.45m). Cattle breaks in bank to E and NW. Site partially overgrown with furze bushes. No visible surface trace of linear hachured bank (L c. 40m) tangential to NW side of enclosure and L-shaped field boundary to NE of enclosure depicted on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps.
