In shallow depression in boggy mountain land, on S side of Douglas Rivervalley. Circle consists of nine stones, 0.5m to 1.1m L, 0.3m to 0.4m T and 0.4 to 0.9m H. Stones decrease in height from entrance to axial stone. Internal measurement along main axis, aligned NNE-SSW, is 7.5m. Internal quartz block (H 0.2m; 0.55m x 0.4m), with quartz pieces possibly broken from it, stands just E of main axis.
