At the N end of an expansive field of wheat in flat terrain with extensive views to S and E. A levelled spread of burnt material visible as a darkened cropmark (diam. 20m N-S; 21m E-W) on the digital globe on 23 July 2019. A spring line in proximity is marked on second and third editions of the Ordnance Survey maps. This features probably represents a levelled fulachta fia and was reported by Ms Mary Sleeman.
