In pasture, on S-facing slope, overlooking stream valley. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as hachured square enclosure (c. 22m N-S; c. 22m E-W) and on 1936 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure, open to S. Roughly circular area (25m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.7m) W->SE; scarp (H 2m) SE->W; shallow fosse ENE->ESE, traces elsewhere. Interior slopes down to S. Power (1917, 198) mentions 'souterrains' in connection with this site (CO065-102---).
