In pasture, on N-facing crest of ridge. Roughly circular area (36m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earth and stone bank (H 2.45m), with external fosse (D 0.15m) NW->NNE. Low terrace (Wth 2.5m) at foot of bank internally E->WNW. Gaps in bank to NE, S and NNW. Interior raised slightly on N side to compensate for hillslope.
